Pre-licensing education in New Jersey
New Jersey requires 20 hours of approved pre-licensing education per line: 20 for Life, 20 for Accident & Health, or 40 if you pursue both. Course completion certificates are valid for two years. There is no combined L&H exam — each line is a separate 3.5-hour sitting.
